Ascension is the ability to consciously live in alignment with the loving frequencies of higher dimensions of consciousness.
You don’t need to know anything about ascension or practice any spiritual work in order to ascend; we will all get there eventually. However, practicing lovingkindness can be tremendously helpful in speeding things along. This is not to say that everyone will ascend together. Ascension is a personal choice we make and our free will is honored regarding this process. The entire population on Earth will probably not make this choice because most don’t see themselves as spirit beings in a human body. They believe that life happens to them and they have no choice about the future. Or perhaps they think that life beyond the physical world that can be experienced with the five senses does not exist. For those who are strongly attached to Earth drama, life may continue as it always has. They simply need more time to make the changes that will allow them to join us in the higher realms.
To define ascension, I need to first share some material on the ego because this “fallen” part of us is what we are leaving behind and ascending from —separation or a lack of love. Some say that the ego is God experiencing Himself as something other than love. (When I use the word “God” please convert this term to whatever name you use to define the benevolent, all-knowing, all-loving source of creation, universal consciousness, or matrix of limitless energy.) I define the ego as the part of us that believes it is separate from Source or Spirit (God-Goddess). These fragmented parts of us were created from traumatic experiences (in this life or a previous incarnation) and/or from our acceptance of the limiting beliefs of our ancestors.
The ego tries to protect us from what it perceives as harm, but in reality it can prevent us from expanding our mind and growing spiritually. It keeps us stuck in destructive patterns that secure only one thing—the continuing of a separatist mindset. The ego believes that you are separate from me and vice versa. It believes that we are separate and inferior to God rather than part of Him/Her. It believes that humans are superior to other forms of life. There is really no way that anyone or anything can be separate from God—the Life force, the Divine Matrix—from which all substances (souls, humans, animals, plants, stars, etc.) are created.
The separatist mindset causes us to disconnect from one another as well as from our emotions. Moving into purer consciousness means we must begin showing compassion for others, including animals and the Earth. The manner in which we have polluted the Earth is despicable. The cruel way we raise animals in factory farms and slaughter them as a food source is a sad disgrace. The writing of this book has changed me in many ways, but the most evident is that I can no longer tolerate an omnivorous diet. Animals have feelings—nerve receptors capable of feeling physical pain as well as personality and emotions. They bond with one another and form families and communities; they express sorrow whenever they encounter a loss. I began to ask myself, “Why is it justifiable to eat a farm animal but we would never eat our domesticated pet?” Based upon the Garden of Eden story, no animals died until after humans started to believe they were separate from God. I am in no way judging anyone who eats meat, but I am asking you to consider what needs to be done if we truly want a non-violent and peaceful planet. The answer seems obvious: we must end the death and suffering on our own dinner plate. Besides showing compassion for all God’s creatures and being good stewards of the Earth, it’s also for our own health that we return to eating the vegetation supplied by Mother Earth. If we eat what comes out of the Earth, we might be more conscious of how polluting the Earth detrimentally affects us.
Currently, the average human body is very acidic and toxic. It has been proven that the consumption of sugar, processed foods, and meat are linked to a multitude of health issues such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and obesity. You can help to free your body from an unhealthy state by changing to a plant-based diet that includes whole grains, fruits, nuts, vegetables, and legumes. A vegan diet is the cleanest and most efficient way to detox the body and provide high nutrition without feeling hungry or deprived. It also lowers cholesterol, lowers blood pressure, prevents osteoporosis, and reduces the risk of heart disease, cancer, and stroke. It takes wise planning, advanced preparation, and an investment of your time and energy to eat in this fashion, but aren’t you and your body worth it? Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit!
Recognizing our oneness with everything is a vital part of the integration process. When faced with worry of any kind we can recognize our fearful thoughts as part of the programming that must be undone. This programming may have resulted from a traumatic experience in which some part of the psyche hid or broke away because it either felt unsafe or bravely stepped into a protector role. These disenfranchised soul particles may have been brought in from a previous lifetime. Or they may have appeared when we bought into the fear-based thinking that was handed down to us from our parents, church, or society—in this lifetime or another. Regardless of when or how they occurred, these fragmented aspects of our soul are simply performing the role we assigned to them.
Yvonne Perry leads participants to create a field of transforming light where miracles happen and the language of light is activated. Light/sound is the language of the creator. When spoken or sung verbally, light language creates a pure and loving vibration that can shift old thoughts, beliefs, and behavior patterns housed in the subconscious/psyche. Our DNA holds light codes of the divine human. When activated, these codes can override and reprogram old beliefs and patterns that keep the body, mind, and emotions sick and misaligned.
